Since I was busy this past month, let’s recap with our favorite guys before we move on to new stuff: Skream, D-Jahsta, Noisia, Trolley Snatcha, and Grimblee (introduced on The Dubwoofer) all dished out some pretty supreme vibes.
Ever since he remixed Swagga and dropped Evil Freddy in the same year, I’ve thought D-jahsta was a no good skanky badman. While he’s surely been keepin tracks up since then, none have quite confirmed my suspicions as strongly as slug bass. Turn this up and you should have no problem creepin
A killer set of remixes brought to you by Noisia, easily one my top 5 favorite artists in the DnB/Dubstep world. They move between the two genres artfully, and sport a massive sub bass sound. I like to think of Noisia as what an explosion would sound like if it had an intricate and playful sense of rhythm (sometimes they really mess with you). They are also super prolific, so if you haven’t given these guys an ear, gettoit. Two of the newer tracks on the remixes set are Contact, featuring their familiar Grime counterpart Foreign Beggars, and Painkiller. Noisia works its familiar drum patterns change-ups in these tracks, and most importantly, brings it heavy.
